Tunneling

St. Louis photographer Frank Di Piazza shot these in Gass' home for St. Louis Magazine in the fall of 2007. Several of them appeared in SLM's December 2007 issue, alongside the Gass essay "Shelf Life," in which the author reflects on the 20,000-volume library in the home he shares with his wife.
